For a couple in search of a timeless and elegant wedding venue, the Dr. Phillips Center is the perfect space. It’s known for its modern elegance and timeless city details. For this reason, Kailyn and Jonah selected the timeless Downtown Orlando venue to host their winter wedding. 

Like most engaged couples in 2020, Kailyn and Jonah experienced a bit of change to their original wedding plans. Not wanting to put their love story on hold, they decided to legally tie the knot at a micro brunch wedding at the Alfond Inn with immediate family in June 2020 and postpone their larger celebration to January 29, 2021. After months of planning and putting their large event on pause, we couldn’t wait for their second wedding celebration!

Classic & Elegant Winter Ceremony Wedding Details

Jonah and Kailyn’s wedding began at their parish, St. James Cathedral to host their large January wedding. St. James is a large cathedral located in Downtown Orlando. Upon walking in, guests are wow’d by the cathedral’s large timeless ceiling paintings and stained glass windows. While this space spoke for itself, winter white floral arrangements were chosen to dress the altar. 

Kailyn walked down the aisle with her white bridal bouquet and wore a cathedral veil which paired perfectly with her modern wedding dress. Kailyn’s wedding dress was a perfect selection for a timeless winter wedding in Florida. Her plunge neckline paired with a fitted silhouette made for an effortless bridal style. Her groom, Jonah chose a classic black tux and bow tie for his attire. His style too was timeless and perfect for their white wedding.

Timeless Dr. Phillips Center Wedding Reception with Hanging White Flowers 

After the ceremony, the bridal party & guests headed to the wedding reception at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Located less than a mile away from each other, the commute from the ceremony to reception an easy trip for everyone. While Kailyn and Jonah and their bridal party took portraits, their guests headed to the venue for cocktail hour. After months of planning, they couldn’t wait to show off their elegant wedding reception! 

When it was time to enter the reception, guests were completely captivated by the endless attention to elegant details. Some of these included personalized storytelling napkins and picture frames throughout the cocktail hour. While guests were settling in and reuniting, they also experienced elegant music by a saxaphonist. As it was time to enter into the ballroom, what caught the attention of everyone was the hanging floral chandelier that was located above the dance floor.

As Kailyn and Jonah began their first dance it brought all of their guests to tears! Guests were wowed when their spark cannons went off during their dance in front of the beautiful downtown Orlando skyline.

From start to finish, Kailyn and Jonah’s timeless Dr. Phillips Center Wedding was one for the books. Although plans changed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, their special day turned into one from their dreams. Congratulations, Kailyn and Jonah!
