If there is anything the wedding industry has been taught in 2020, is that love conquers all. Couples want to be married and they are ready to start the next chapter in life.

COVID-19 consequently made couple Kailyn and Jonah postpone their large wedding. Because of this, they weren’t ready to put a hold on their love story. The postponement lead the newlyweds to keep their wedding date and host a micro wedding while postponing their reception until 2021.

Intimate Wedding Ceremony at The Alfond Inn

As a result of the wedding postponement, Kailyn and Jonah chose a venue that is located in the heart of Winter Park, Florida. The Alfond Inn was the perfect selection for their intimate micro wedding ceremony. The Alfond Inn was the perfect place to host their brunch wedding because of their ceremony space and delicious brunch options. Planning their day was easy because of the wonderful micro wedding package the hotel offers. The package is complete with getting ready room, ceremony location, and brunch.

Kailyn’s wedding day began in her hotel room and glam squad, About Face Design Team. Keeping her wedding gown a surprise for their large wedding in 2021, she slipped into a little white dress. She then finished her look with a gorgeous bridal bouquet and dazzling earrings. Once she was dressed and heard the softs sounds of Christine McPhail playing the harp, she was ready to walk down the aisle.

After Kailyn walked down the aisle and was joined with Jonah and their officiant. The newlyweds exchanged vows and were officially married. After their vows were exchanged, recessional music filled the room and helped create the ceremony she always dreamed of.

Wedding Reception Brunch at The Alfond Inn

Following the ceremony was photos and brunch for their immediate family. Kailyn and Jonah stepped out for a few minutes with their photographer, Casie Marie. Casie captured the most romantic moments from their special day. After portraits were taken, Kailyn and Jonah reunited with their family to continue the wedding celebration. The families toasted, ate, drank, and cut their wedding cake.

COVID-19 has subsequently created terms like Micro weddings. Although couples like Kailyn and Jonah didn’t originally plan for one, they do allow couples to host traditional weddings but on a smaller scale.

Today, we continue to work with Kailyn and Jonah to complete the planning of their large wedding reception which will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Kailyn will wear her Designer Amsale wedding dress and they will be surrounded by their full guest list to celebrate.
