Rae Nicole Events Plans Rooftop Wedding at The Balcony Orlando
Located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, Alex and Jason chose The Balcony Orlando to host their chic downtown rooftop wedding with hints of yellow.
Soon after they met with Taylor, previously of Rae Nicole Events. Alex and Jason shared their dreamy wedding vision of chic rooftop vibes with subtle pops of yellow. This unique wedding inspiration was exciting for Taylor because not every couple wants to have bold designs. With their vision in mind, Taylor ran with it. “I love working bold colors into a wedding design and couldn’t wait to get started on their vision board.”
Soon after meeting with Taylor, the couple chose Orlando florist, Little Wild Bloom to help bring their chic downtown rooftop wedding to life! “Stephanie Forshee of Little Wild Bloom embraced every element of Alex & Jason’s vision and was the perfect floral designer for their big day.” Says Bianco. Alex had a vision in mind and the perfect person to bring it to life was Stephanie.
Wedding Ceremony Details | Chic Downtown Orlando Rooftop Wedding
When it was finally the wedding day, Stephanie creating concrete planters filled with Forsythia branches for the ceremony backdrop. The pop of yellow created warmth for the rooftop chic and modern space.
The ceremony finally complete with clear chairs and Alex’s stunning, one-of-a-kind bouquet. Feminine, modern, and eclectic, Alex’s bouquet was her perfect final accessory to pair with her clean bridal style.
Wedding Reception Details
After their ceremony was complete, it was time to start their reception! With large wooden farm tables and clear infinity chairs, their vision was finally brought to life. They also had marble chargers and matte black flatware as the final touches. In the meantime, Little Little Wild Bloom dressed the tables with a variety of custom pottery bud vases. We then completed the look with layered, modern place settings. And what reception is complete without a dancefloor? Alex and Jason chose a white dancefloor that hosted all the fun for the remainder of their romantic evening.
The uncommon pairing of yellow, white, and matte black was exactly what Alex wanted for her wedding day. Couples are afraid to play with colors that are seen as unconventional or non-traditional, however, with venues like The Balcony, couples can get super creative with their design inspiration and use colors like yellow. Modern and chic wedding designs are thought of as white and black. Adding pops of color throughout the floral will warms the design and keep it from feeling cold and generic.
